CNC Lathe Machinist – Direct Hire

Currently seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist for a great opportunity in the York, PA area. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge to set up & operates Mazak CNC Lathes to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts by performing the following duties. Responsibilities of the CNC Lathe Machinist: Set up and operate Mazak CNC Lathes – Utilize knowledge of working properties and machining processes for a wide variety of materials such as stainless steels, Monel, Hastalloy, other nickel alloys, cast iron, carbon steel, bronze, aluminum, plastics, etc. Manufacture components within the allotted time estimates provided on the job travelers. Make process recommendations for improved efficiency and works with the CNC Programmer to optimize processes, programs, and cutting tools. Ensure customer satisfaction with product and service. Take a proactive approach to continuous improvement including productivity, quality, safety, environmental and ergonomics. Program, setup, and operate Mazak and G-code CNC Turning Centers with minimal supervision. May be required to operate multiple machines simultaneously. Perform manual CNC program edits as required to effectively complete job work-scope. Read and interpret customer drawings with an understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance per ANSI Y-14.5. Inspect work produced (1st piece and in-process inspection) using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, bore gauges, dial calipers, or other measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications. Maintain tolerances as close as 0.0005″. Where required, document inspection results on supplied Inspection Documentation Sheets. Assist other operators with setup and troubleshooting as required. Train and instruct other employees when requested. Document daily activities to assure performance in accordance with job standards. Willing to work overtime when needed to satisfy customer requirements. Employee may be required to operate forklifts and have the ability to safely rig and handle product up to 4 tons. Proficient knowledge of G&M codes. The employee may be required to follow other job-related instructions and to perform other job related tasks as required, subject to applicable state and federal law. Requirements of the CNC Lathe Machinist: Ability to setup and operate CNC Horizontal and Vertical machining centers with minimal supervision. Master-Cam CNC programming experience. Experienced working in ISO-9001 or AS9100 quality environment. Compensation for the CNC Lathe Machinist: Full-time Salary: $20 – $28/hour. Position is a direct hire with the company. Machine Operator

Duties include but not limited to: This position will require the operator to be familiar with CNC equipment to make sure they are set up properly, working well, and producing quality product. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training will occur and we are looking for someone who has the willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. Skills: Knowledge of Production Procedures, Ability to Read Blueprints, Analytical Skills, Attention to Detail, Teamwork,Work Independently and as Part of a Team, Multitasking. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. 3 to 4 year apprenticeship; on-the-job training. Position is a temp-hire position, looking to start immediately Monday – Thursday: 6am – 4pm; optional overtime available on Friday’s from 6am – 12pm. Materials Estimator

Duties include but not limited to: This is  first shift position reporting to the Materials/Planning Manager. The standard work week is Monday -Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm; some overtime may be required.  The Materials Estimator is responsible for executing the activities required to organize, document, and ensure completion of all bid related activities, with consistent analysis of inventory and purchasing data including price and lead time to obtain quotes.  Materials Estimator will interface with, but not be limited to, the planning /materials, quality, maintenance, production and engineering groups. Previous purchasing experience preferred.  Must have experience communicating and working directly with suppliers.  Knowledge of electronics components a plus. Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO and other standards a plus.  Solid computer skills with Microsoft Office and ERP software and email. Must have time management and attention to detail skills.  Effective communication and negotiation skills are required.  The ability to effectively work and interface with both a team and suppliers.  Must be able to sit for extended periods, walk about office and factory, use computers, telephones copiers and other office equipment demonstrate good written and math skills.  Position is a temp-hire position, looking to start immediately. Apartment Maintenance Technician
